Bath Business Association Garage Sale

Sponsored by the Bath Business Association, the 6th Annual Bath Community Garage Sale will take place on Saturday June 10, from 8 am to 3pm in various locations throughout Bath. Remember that adage about one person’s “trash” being another’s “treasure”? Start setting aside your “trash” to be purchased as “treasures” during the sixth annual Bath Community Garage Sale, scheduled this year for Saturday, June 10, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sponsored by the Bath Business Association (BBA), in cooperation with Bath Township, the garage sale has annually featured anywhere from 50 to more than 100 individual participating locations, scattered throughout Bath, with sites shown on a township map and marked by signage.

Cost to participate in the Bath Community Garage Sale is $10, and participation is limited to those in Bath Township. That $10 cost provides a numbered listing and map location on the Garage Sale maps, which will be available in the West Side Leader on June 8, as well as a brief description of items for sale at each location; advertising promotions; and signage and balloons the day of the sale. At 3 p.m. the afternoon of the sale, a Goodwill Industries truck will be on hand in the parking lot of The Bake Shop in Ghent, 800 Wye Road, to collect any items that remain unsold and that participants chose to donate from their respective garage sale locations.

Registration forms for the June 10 garage sale can be downloaded from the BBA website, www.bathbusinessassociation.com, by May 1. In addition, registration forms will be available at The Bake Shop in Ghent, 800 Wye Road, the office at Crown Point Ecology Center, 3220 Ira Road, and Colonial Pharmacy, 1915 N. Cleveland-Massillon Road. Registration deadline will be Friday, May 26, and there will be no participation without pre-payment.

Net proceeds from the garage sale help to fund the BBA scholarship awarded annually to a Bath Township graduating senior pursuing additional studies in the field of business.

Keep the Bath Community Garage Sale – and that scholarship for a local graduating high school senior – in mind as your spring cleaning starts. For details, call 330-666-3347 or 330-666-4007.
