Boggs Custom Homes, Inc. was founded by Tom Boggs in the early 1960’s. As a school teacher, Tom spent his summers building both custom and speculative homes.

Over the next twenty years, Tom developed a strong reputation for his honesty and integrity, qualities that are essential to a home builder. He passed those qualities onto his three sons. His youngest son, Jeff, came to follow in his father's’ footsteps. Having been raised around the construction business, Jeff returned to Akron in the mid 1980’s to work hand in hand with his father. Jeff became president of Boggs Custom Homes after his father retired and has continued to grow/succeed as a custom home builder, building now for over 35 years.

Jeff and his father have since built some of the most prestigious homes in the surrounding area, having won HBA’s “Best Homes Competition” numerous times.
